Automotive Electronic Diagnostic Tools
USDI has developed automotive electronic diagnostic tools since the corporation was first formed in 1987. These tools are currently used in automobile dealerships, automobile assembly plants and in automobile engineering facilities.
Open Source Tools
USDI has extensive experience in using OpenSource tools such as Embedded Linux, ANT (for building Java projects), CruiseControl (for continuous integration), Junit tests (for Unit Testing Java code), XPP (XML Pull Parser, a very fast XML parser). USDI helped design, build and test a Java application with database stored as XML files for a Vehicle Diagnostics project using all of the above mentioned tools and techniques. AspectJ was used in profiling the application extensively.
Large Scale Deployment
USDI has developed software that has been sold to over 8000 auto mechanics.
USDI has developed boot-loader software that has been masked into the CPU ROM of over 2.5 million automobile engine controllers.
