Hands-free Phone Module
USDI consultants wrote QNX based CAN drivers, protocol and transport layers for a QNX based hands-free phone module that allowed the module to interface with the rest of the system. Our consultants also developed a Vector CANoe simulation to allow the module to be tested before the other components were available, thus ensuring successful delivery.
J2534 Aftermarket Pass-through Reprogramming
Our consultants are developing a multi-platform software solution to reprogram vehicles using the government mandated SAE J2534 protocol. The solution consists of a script driven "engine" and a collection of ECU specific scripts
RS232 to GPIB Converter Box
USDI developed custom hardware to interface an off-the-shelf single board computer to GPIB. We also wrote the drivers and the application software. The converter is used to interface legacy point of sale systems to new peripherals. The client saved money by not having to replace their existing POS system.
